Kansas City is, in many ways, a foodie’s paradise. Oh, you thought all we had going for us was barbecue? While we do have plenty of sauce-soaked and spice-rubbed deliciousness, the city’s restaurants also boast about every other type of cuisine you could fancy.

Grocery Options

Unfortunately, there’s not much nearby. There is Brancato’s Whistle Stop Market inside Union Station, but it’s only open Thurs-Sun, 8am-3pm.

Farther north, there’s a Cosentino’s on 13th between Main and Walnut. It’s not a reasonable walk, but it is near enough the 12th St Kansas City Streetcar stop that it’s reachable!
